Wife Parked Next To Sprinklers | Water Spot Removal | McKee's RV Water Spot Remover Gel

My wife parked next to the sprinklers at my condo. The next morning when I got to the shop I gave it a wash and the water spots still remained. I did try a claybar it did improve but was still very noticeable. I did not want to break out the polisher to remove these annoying spots. I quickly grabbed a bottle of McKee's RV Water Spot Remover Gel, And hoped that it would prevent me from breaking out the buffer.

I grabbed a microfiber applicator pad and applied a quater sized amount of product.

I worked the area by hand not applying much pressure. The liquid is very thick. After my pad was primed I only needed a few drops per panel.

On the bottle it recommends using a damp towel, for easier removal. I misted a few sprays of N914 @ Waterless ratio and it removed fairly easy. I did buff off with a second towel to ensure a streak free finish.

    After

The Water Spot Remover Gel revealed the metal flake in the paint removing all traces of any water spots.

To say that I am relieved that I did not have to use a polisher to remove the spots is a under statement!

    Cool Joe!

So you've got access to the RV line too, super cool!!!

Hopefully we'll see some reviews of some of the others soon too.

    These two are very interesting.

Nice save, Joe. Does it remove any LSP in the process?

I won the giveaway on Autopia and did a review on the majority of that line over there. There were 3 of us who won and the deal was supposed to be we write the reviews, I never saw another review at all.

That wheel wash and polish WORKS AWESOME specially if the wheels are polished or bright originally. I have some pics of the wheels I did on my website under the "recreation" tab. That was spray and rinse no scrubbing like the bottle said.

Interesting! So is this water spot remover similar to a paint cleansing cream like: BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish, P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser, or Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion?

Joe - thanks for the writeup. good to know this product works. My wife parked her car next to sprinklers a week after I did a full paint correction on her black maxima. In the hot AZ summer sun no less! Vinegar didn't remove it so I had to break out the polisher and remove them. What a pain. She knows not to do that anymore but if it happens again I'll know what to use.
