Find no reason to top it with anything else other than refreshing it with another layer if needed.

I'm not surprised. I said i got about 5 months but I think it was actually longer. Obviously the gloss gets toned down over that time but you can see its still on there protecting.

Guz lives in SoCal. With very little rain, I can see how his coating lasts so long.

As I mentioned two posts ago, I tried topping with SiO2 Tire Spray and I don’t really see many benefits. I would never top the coating with a dressing, that will grease it up and remove its ability to stay clean. If anything, if you must top, do the SiO2 Tire Spray.

True but the heat plays a factor as well. We may not get rain but we sure do have some high UV and heat. One thing is certain is that the McKee's version outperforms the old DP version by a long shot. Whatever tweaks Nick made were a nice improvement. Not to mention it looks better.

Yeah I’m finding that topping the tac systems tire coat with Perl has the same problem. If it rains gets runny. I think TSTC is a 2 month coating but I now just add a new coat every month to 2 months to keep the semi gloss look that I like. When runs out may have to give McKee’s a try

This wouldn’t bother me much except that coating exhibits zero runnyness or water/dirt trails after any amount of rain so far.
Pic of some of the runny SiO2 dressing after the rain. This didn’t happen at all with the coating:
