I saw your mention of Meguiar's 16. Coincidentally, I've got a half used tin from years ago that I broke out a few days ago to try on my truck along with M21, ULW, and M26.
I ended up using M26.
Like you stated, the M16 can be a bear to wipe off. That's probably the reason I still have a half full tin after all these years.
It seems like I'll give it a little test every few years, and when it gets to the wiping off part I decide to put it back on the shelf. I'd hate to think of applying it to a whole car and then learn of the difficult wipe off.
