Hello from Seattle
Hello everyone,
Just joined the forum a couple weeks ago. I've become a bit of an addict...never thought that I'd really get into detailing but it's happened.
I have a black on black Carrera 2s that drew me into detailing. First black car and one thing led to another...
Happy to be here.

Re: Hello from Seattle
The one stop shop part is kinda the problem...I just placed another pretty decent sized order.
To Smalltrees and the other Northwesterners what are you guys using to prep your cars for the winter. I spend a fair amount of time driving to the various ski areas and am curious what you guys use.
Thanks,
Nero

Oh and to be clear...i don't use the C2s as a ski car. My daily driver and ski car is a 2k8 Outback.

Re: Hello from Seattle
Yeah, I hear ya...I'll take some before photos. To be honest the C2s is in pretty decent shape. I need to fill in some stone chips on the nose, clay, polish, seal and then wax. Here's a run down on what I'm planning to use;
Dr. Colorchip as needed
Meguiars clay with Griot's Garage Speed Shine
Porter Cable 7424Xp with Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover
Porter Cable 7424Xp with Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish
Klasse AIO with Polycharger
Klasse x3 coats High Gloss Sealant with Polycharger
P21s 100% Carnauba Wax
I've used the Klasse combo with P21s already and it worked out great. The Polycharger addition is an experiment. Hopefully, that will work out great as well.
If the weather cooperates this weekend I'll post some photos...

After the obligatory wash+clay I've had good luck with a couple applications of Poorboys EX-P. Still haven't sprung for Nattys or another pure carnuba topper for the dark red daily driver.
