Hi from the West Coast (of Florida)
Hi, long-time lurker here finally joining the action. I just got a new vehicle that I want to keep looking new, so I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions and searching the old postings for info. I'm a member of other forums (non-detailing forums), but this one seems to be much more civilized and professional - I don't see the inflamatory name calling so common on other forums...I like it!

Welcome to the party from St Pete FL. What kind of car did you pick up? This place has all the info you will need to keep your car looking brand new and shiny. They helped me start a successful business with their advice.

Re: Hi from the West Coast (of Florida)
Thanks all! The new vehicle is a truck (F150) with dark blue metallic paint and tan trim around the bottom. The blue looks real nice when its clean, but that doesn't seem to last long.
I've also got a white '07 wrangler (weekend vehicle) and the wife's silver '02 suburban to keep clean - both of which don't show dirt nearly as much as the truck.
