Hello form Atlanta
Hi, All
Wanted to stop by and say hello and thank you. You all have a great thing going here and this is hard to find these days.
I work in the tech industry and very really find as much detailed information as you guys/Gals post here.
I started looking at the forum to find a good wax for my new Black SUV, you have taught me that even a new car needs some TLC. You pointed me at what to look for and how to make it look better.
Just mad my first polisher purchase to correct some of the things that I have been pointed to. I have always been a fan of Clay bar, but never used it on a new car. What a difference.
I started looking at the paint in a new way, Looks great when I'm sitting in the drivers seat and the hood looks like a mirror. Take a walk a round it in sunlight and it does not have that magic appeal, even though it is very shiny. The imperfections where visible. Just like the spot on the carpet no one else can see but you know it is there. Until it is looked at closely. Or in other word like the rest of the Autos out there.
Just purchased a PC7424XP, Pads: CSS, Orange, White, Grey, Blue and Red along with a jeweling pad. And a bunch of MF. Already have the washing kit, And Trim polish and all the other Gizmo's.
Option 1
M105, May not need this, or maybe just a few spots..
M205, more likely this first step.
M7, for the Glaze.
XMT 180 for the WAX. Other Finish wax possibilities are Meg NXT, Meg Gold Class Liquid. At least for now.
Option 2
XMT 360 AIO
XMT 180
May need to place another order for fast shipping on the WAX still undecided.
Hope this helps remove the minor washing scratches and haziness in some spots. A few deeper scratches on the paint but you have to look for them.
I wish I had read the post about not letting the dealer wash a car for you before I purchased. Will post some before pictures under Halogen tomorrow, Then will post the results from both options later on.
Any comments welcome.
