    Signing in from LA...

    Hello all,
Recently had my pride and joy side-swiped and totaled. Picked up a sweet deal on an '06 silver Mustang Convertible. The new toy although in good shape needs some help where the paint is concerned. Luckily google didn't let me down and I found your site.

The car has minor swirling in the paint that was easily removed by hand in "one" spot with Mequires paint cleaner (step 1). But there are two spots that appear to be scrubbed to get something off the paint that will entail more work.

Have been reading everyone's input on tools and products to use to whip this baby in shape. And would like to see if my reading pays off before I invest in everything I am going to need. I respect all the input about the Flex DA, but with everything else I need to purchase (and having only 2 cars to work on) I can't see spending twice the money on the flex. How does this package sound:

Meguiars G110 DA Pro kit: Meguiars G110 Dual Action Pro Kit FREE BONUS
And pick up additional CCS pads to have 3 of each, cleaning brush and a few more microfiber cloths.

Either Megs 105 & Megs 205, or Menz SIP & Menz Nano.
Should I use a glaze next?
    Followed by Wolfgang DGPS 3.0
Should I use a wax after this?

I already have Mother's clay bar and lube.

    Any input would be appreciated,

The G110 with 4" LC pads will be great. I like Meg 105, 205 and Menz final polish II. I use 2 glazes Danase wet glaze, to me on some colors it adds a nice wet look or I use Prima Amigo I like this more for its cleaning and it does hide some swirls. For the most part I use a glaze on a Daily Drive that I do not want to do heavy polishing on often. If you do a good job polishing there really is no need for a glaze. If you want to you can use a wax after the sealant just make sure you wait 12hrs after.
