    Hello from Europe, Hungary!

    Dear Forum Members!

My name is Mate, (Matt) from a european countryside. Well we have MTZs instead of John Deers

Well here is a short description how i ended up in polishing:

Since i know myself i never ever liked or weared it if someone just had to do any job instead of me... fixing the parts of my car, cleaning, polishing etc... simply because if someone do not do it for himself/herself it will not be as good as i would do it for myself with my own hands in my quality exceptations..... i hope you all know what i want to say... so long, and i dont want to stick.... I try to do everything for myself in every way to reach the most perfect results ( as my skills allows me ) .... i am not afraid or lazy to look after, reading, asking questions, looking for answers, sink deep in a topic or even go for a training course.... That is why i am here. I want to learn.

So i decided, before i pay a bunch of money for someone polishing -my current pride and joy,- i just brunt/spent 3x more money to buy professional epiqument products like the 3401 and pastes (and in my bucket list a clearcoat/paint thickness measuring gauge...) and just do it for myself and you know what, anyway... why not make money from it ? ..... A lot of my freinds already want me to jump into the work.

But before business and profit...( which is i plan will take a few years to reach ) i want to enjoy what i make.

If i will do it for myself, i will try my best and i will try to be as good as i can.

Lately i will upload photos here, how my progression is.

(Yes, I already red the part time detailer article! )

Thank you that i can be here, and thank you for your inclusion.

Feel free to suggest me any article thaths worthy to read, from beginner to pro lvl!

    Thank you!!!

Welcome Mate. There's a saying in the States which goes like this............."If you want something done right, do it yourself!"

Actually we have the same. I mean in an exact straight grammatical translate.
Sorry since (sadly) i do not use the language enough to keep it fluent... My vocabulary sometimes just leave me down... Especially now and when i wrote my introduction. It 10pm here and i am tired now. Thank you for your msg!!!

And i am into american cars from the past to anything new I love everything but them American coupes, sport cars and shortbed/longbed trucks will be always in a special place in my heart.

I have a friend in cali. Maybe one day i will go see him and try to see every national parks, wild life and natural monument as possible. And nascar and dirt track with late models and drag races.... Sorry off topic!

    Hello there...from Ohio, USA.

    What a coincidence:
    You’re from Hungary; and it
    seems like I stay ...

    Re: Hello from Europe, Hungary!

Guys, may i ask you about a little flying start ?

    As i said i bought a FLEX 3401 VRG!

Well i would like to exercise both the production polishing and the show car polishing!

I just can not decide which product should i choose for the job, so :

Prods. for PD: (actaually i find even a category for AIO and i understand the technological order)
Prods. for SC: ( this is a bit smokey yet... i still need to find a good example post for 3 step polishing why are they using more products and why are they using that.. can you help me find one? )

Since i got a Hex Logic pad kit for the 3401 i will use them. Yes i paralelly reading and geeking the forum about prods.
    Thank you!

    Welcome Mate!

I enjoy using both Menzerna and Sonax products with my Flex 3401. I am sure they are readily available where you are if Autogeek ordering is difficult. With the abrasive advances in recent years I cannot remember the last time I had to do a 3 step correction.

My favorite 2 step corrections continue to be Menzerna HCC400 followed by either 3500 or 3800. In the Sonax line I love Sonax Cutmaxx followed with either 04-06 or Perfect Finish.

For production work you might find cleaner waxes/sealants make you money in less time.
