Hello from the Pacific Northwest
Hello everyone! Newbie here from the Pacific Northwest! I found my way here while trying to learn if I can ceramic coat my car myself. I have learned that I can! I have also learned it's going to take a lot more work than I had thought. Oh, well. Makes the final product even more gratifying, right? So much too learn! I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time searching the forums and asking questions. Hopefully I don't annoy too many people.

Welcome to the forum Donovan!
Nah you won't be annoying. This is an awesome forum to get friendly answers and learning to get detailing done. If you just get it done properly and you take your time and you will succed. There are some steps that needs to be done thoroughly when applying a ceramic coating. But follow those and you will do it great. It's in the prep work that you get the great results from coatings and a long durable protection. Then a little difference to maintain it but not so hard to do. Mostly it's about keeping it clean and use products that don't clogg the water behavior and self cleaning ability from your coating.

Welcome. I did my first ceramic coating one year ago on my wife’s Lexus( well kinda of my first time, I learned, hands on at Mike’s detailing class, all the proper steps to perform this technique). Take a look at some of Mike’s Phillips videos and advice from this forum; and you will be successful

Thanks for all the welcomes! There is so much information on this site it's almost overwhelming! I'll figure it out though. I have a couple cars to practice on before I get to my Mustang!
