    Next Competition Ready class - May 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th

    Next 3-Day Competition Ready Detail Class - May 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th

Sorry to say but this class is SOLD OUT!

    Next class is May 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th

    IDA SV Certification
If you want to become IDA Skills Validated Certified then you need to also schedule Monday, May 9th for the hands-on tests.

Call Andre to reserve your seat before the May class sells out.

    1-800-869-3011 x244

These three day classes go over more tools, techniques and products than any other class available because I want you to be successful in all areas of car detailing. The classes are intense and incredibly hands-on. There is very little sitting time. After teaching detailing classes for 28+ years I know from experience,

People learn best by doing, not sitting in a chair.

So when you attend a detailing class at Autogeek you learn a lot because you do a lot. These classes are very comprehensive and cover everything from A to Z, inside and out and top to bottom.

    Friday

Multiple-Step Paint Correction --> Show Car Detailing
Friday's topics focus on multiple tools and techniques from simple paint correction and polishing to the most advanced paint correction procedures.

    Cool Cars
Historically I always bring in very special cars for the class to work on including, muscle cars, classics and streetrods. The majority of these cars have modern basecoat/clearcoat paint jobs so everything you learn on these cars carries over to working on any new or modern car. The primary difference is the unique and fun experience of working on typically show cars in dire need of paint restoration.

Entry level to the most advanced tools
We start with entry level tools and progressively work through all tool set to end with the rotary buffer. Each tool set gets it's own car, or cars so everyone gets plenty of hands-on time with each tool set.

    Entry level DA Polishers
This class session goes over the proper techniques for how to use entry level dual action polishers like,

    Porter Cable 7424XP
    Meguiar's MT300
    Meguiar's G110v2
    Griot's Garage 6" DA

Machine polishing starts with these easy to use polishers and then progresses to tools which offer more power and require more advanced techniques to use correctly. This class is a foundational class where we'll cover the basics of machine polishing. This will provide students with a strong foundation for proper machine polishing techniques and as more tools are covered students will build on this foundation.

    Cyclo Dual Head Polishers
This class session goes the proper techniques for using the Cyclo Orbital Polisher Model 5 Pro as well as the Cyclo buffing pads. The Cyclo polisher is unique in that it offers two buffing heads with incredibly smooth, low vibration polishing. The Cyclo is versatile in that you can no only machine polish paint but you can also perform a variety of machine scrubbing procedures simply by attaching one of the four different brush offerings by Cyclo.

Griot's Garage BOSS Paint Polishing System
This class session covers the new Griot's Garage G21 and G15 long throw orbital polishers as well as the BOSS buffing pads and BOSS compounds, polishes and waxes.

    RUPES Orbital Polishers
This class session goes over the correct techniques for using multiple RUPES tools including,

    BigFoot 21
    BigFoot 15
    Duetto 12
    Mini 12
    TA50

Plus the complete RUPES paint polishing system including Rupes pads and products. The RUPES company is one of the most innovative companies in the car detailing world with top notch tools, pads and products.

    New Mark II Series Polishers
This year at SEMA RUPES introduced the new Mark II BigFoot 15 and 21 orbital polishers. During our RUPES class students will get hands-on time with the new Mark II polishers.

The Flex 3401 gear-driven orbital polisher
This class session goes over the correct techniques for using the Flex 3401 dual action polishers. The Flex 3401 offers both forced rotation and forced oscillation making it a beast of a tool. The Flex 3401 is specifically designed to do one thing only and that's polish paint.

If you don't already own a copy of my how to book you can pick up a copy at the class.

How to use the Flex XC3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher Paperback Book

The Flex XCF 7 15mm Long Stroke Free Spinning Orbital Polisher
This is the brand new free spinning long stroke random orbital polisher introduced by Flex at SEMA 2015. Most of the techniques for using other orbital polishers will apply to this new offering by Flex. Students will learn how to mechanically decontaminate, correct, polish and seal using this new orbital polisher from Flex.

For each of the unique tool sets taught on Friday we also cover multiple brands of compounds and polishes including,
    • SONAX
    • Meguiar's
    • Pinnacle
    • Wolfgang
    • Menzerna
    • Mothers
    • 3M
    • Optimum

Students also learn how to use multiple brands for three different categories of paint protection including,

    1. Car waxes
    2. Synthetic paint sealants
    3. Paint coatings

Students learn how to choose the best product according to the type of car and how it's used with special attention also paid to the owner's wishes. Students will learn how to educate their customer to match their services to the customer and how and when to upsell a coating instead of using a traditional car wax or synthetic paint sealant.

End of day Questions and Answers Session

Friday night catered dinner at 5:00pm

The class is officially over at 4:30pm and at approximately 5:00pm Autogeek will provide dinner served in the Show Car Garage catered by TooJay's. Here is the menu,

    • Chicken Marsala
    • Grilled London Broil Sirloin
    • Mashed Potatoes
    • Green Beans
    • Caesar Salad
    • Rye Bread

THANK You for bringing out your personal Rupes Mark ll for class to try ( what a machine).

    Great group of guy's also.

Wet sanding was the best part. When you told us we were going to wet sand 2 complete cars, I was blown away & said to my self NO WAY.

We not only did it, but cars turned out great!

Amassing how much confidence you have in your students, I guess that is a tribute to your knowledge and your ability to get the information out to the class.

    THANK YOU & your associates.

See you at February boat detailing class.

Great overall experience. This class helped reinforce my paint correction skills.

Also was able to take a great deal from wet sanding, glass correction, headlight restoration, as well as the overall business and market that is detailing.

I've been putting what I learned into play the first day back. Also learning more as I explore the forums that Autogeek offers.

Now it's time to learn how to work on some boats! See you Saturday at your boat detailing class!

Your 3 day class was totally top shelf. Not only was it challenging but also alot of fun.

Sometimes you have to let stuff sink in before you can comment with a sound mind.

I'm hear to tell you that I've had a chance to attend another Detailing class out in California which was good, however your course blew that one out of the water due to the learn by doing method that's used which was very effective.

There were many great highlights during the class, however the one that stuck out most was the early morning when we started to correct the paint on the black 64 Corvette Coupe and watching you work through the process of wet sanding, compounding, polishing the front passenger side headlight of the car was truly a master piece exhibition.

There are times when cost is a determining factor in many things that we are trying to accomplish and if what we trying to do is cost prohibitive many times we let that be the determining factor on if we will purchase or not. I'm hear to tell you that your course gave us way more in knowledge, instruction and experience than what I paid to attend the course.

For those that are serious about becoming a top detailer your course is a must.

Your positive energy and passion for detailing was very infectious and attending your course will not only help me at becoming the best detailer in the area but also will help me to propel my detailing business to the next level.

I also would like to say thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to ensure that I got the stuff that I left at the class which you got to me at turbo speed and thanks for all that you shared with us are you are truly the definition of sharing and caring.

Lastly, to all the guys I broke bread with and rubbed elbows with during the class, I must say that all of you are at the top of you game and it was nice to intermingle with the best and will be in touch.

I know for me, I always strive for perfection, so sometimes I need to pull back and give the customer what there paying for, without doing major correction work when its not really needed.

This class really helped me learn how to do this effectively, while also maintaining the speed/quality/time management, we all strive for.

The group of guys was great, I felt like we all got along great, pulled each other up, and really worked as a team. I know that I definitely made a bunch of new friends and new networking partners.

Really had a great time and highly recommend it to anyone.

    Thanks again Mike

To aid in the appreciation of what Mike and the class was able to achieve, you should know that the Lincoln has spent most of it's life in Wisconsin and the external portion (shell) of the car was not well cared for.

I am partially disabled and purchased the Lincoln about 12 years ago, making the Lincoln the workhorse of my family.

Not being physically capable of maintaining the exterior, I depended on carwashes to keep it as clean as possible, especially because of the severe winters that the car went through in Wisconsin (frigid temps, ice, snow, road salt, etc).

It’s AMAZING how the Class was able to bring it back to life under Mike’s direction. Looking at these results, there is no question about the high quality of Autogeeks’ products and Mike’s knowledge & training capabilities.

I would like to thank EVERYONE involved with beautifying my Lincoln. I’m so ecstatic with the results that I can’t get the smile off my face!! When I first saw the car after they were done, I said “Wow!” And I haven’t stopped saying “Wow” yet!

Some people have asked if I recently had the car repainted and the carriage top replaced. After I tell them it’s still all original and that Autogeek is responsible for the AMAZING look of my car, these people are now saying “Wow” too!

I’d also like to commend Mr. Bob McKee, Owner of Autogeek, for staffing his operation with such dedicated and professional personnel who are always willing to help and share their knowledge of car care as well as for the workshops and training programs they provide.

    Thanks so much again,

I traveled from Utah to attend (which was really hard to do leaving the 10 degree weather ).

I was very impressed by it all; Mike is a Class-A top-notch guy that really knows his trade and I personally feel honored to have dipped a few days into his mind and learn some of the many things he taught us.

The staff at A.G. are top-notch as well.

The facility was outstanding and the food they supplied was amazing as well. If I had to rate the experience overall, it would best be said that it totally exceeded my expectations!

We did spend some time learning via classroom presentations, but the majority of the class was hands-on, and boy did we spend some time on the cars!

I certainly slept very well those first two nights!

There was a LOT of material we covered. I was very thankful that I brought a notebook and wrote many things down.

Anyone attending future classes I would suggest you do the same (especially if you're over 40 like me ;- )

While I only do some specialized detailing on the side (and also for my personal vehicles), I felt this class was a great shot in the arm that has given me the confidence to hop into other tasks. I also learned to become much more efficient (doing a better job in less time).

Let's face it, detailing is hard work, the more efficient you can accomplish things, the better off you'll be.

All in all, I had a wonderful time. I learned a lot and made many new friends that share the same passion. I would wholeheartedly recommend the class to anyone thinking about it. Money well spent.

My only criticism would be the class needed more Adrienne Janic (aka "AJ"), but then again, she would have just distracted me!

    Regards,
    Johnny in cold Utah

    Hi Mike,
I'm working towards getting the opportunity to attend your May class. I might not be able to get it payed for until the second or third week of March though, so Ive been checking for any updates you may have on spots available. Would I be safe in waiting until then to sign up? i know your class can fill up pretty fast.
