How to use the FLEX 3401 Dual Action Polisher

How to use the FLEX 3401 Dual Action Polisher

Was answering a question on the YouTube page for this video and noticed it never was shared on the forum.

How to use the FLEX 3401 Dual Action Polisher

The Flex 3401 Polisher is a powerful tool but also incredibly safe. This is a Pro-Grade tool that can be used 6-days a week in a heavy production environment and will hold up to all the abuse you can throw at it.

Thanks for sharing that Mike, though I recently purchased a Rupes 15 from you guys, I was curious about the features and benefits of the Flex. As a weekend warrior I do love the Rupes, what a step up from my PC and am very happy with the investment.

I used the new Wolf's "Jeweler" (black pad) for a light pre prep polish, my first time trying out Wolfgang 3.0 Sealant (blue pad) and topped it with 2 coats Fuzion(by hand) I hadn't used the 3.0/fuzion combo yet, just the Fuzion by itself. Pretty amazing! The Wolf's really finished up nicely too. I just wish they put a dispenser cap in the 1 litre bottle.

The Flex 3401 is a great tool and can handle just about anything.

Not to take anything away from what Mike has said but here is an article I wrote on extracting the maximum potential from your 3401.

Re: How to use the FLEX 3401 Dual Action Polisher

I had used an old rotary and Porter Cables 7424xp 1st generation dual action polisher for years with great success and in fact, my 1st generation 7424 is still going strong today..

Approximately 2 or 3 years ago I ordered a Flex 3401 and was shocked at the difference in power, performance, and correction efficiency of this machine...Once you use one there's no looking back........

The Flex 3401 Dual Action Polisher is the finest dual action polisher on the market today.....in my opinion of course! It's power combined with forced rotation and ergonomic design make it a sure winner.

I can attest to the power difference, I used a flex this weekend on a Chrysler van. I used a griot unit for a small section so i didn't have swap plates on the flex. I was using D151 on a white ccs pad, the flex removed my nano marring quicker and better than griot.
