I think Flex has become the Bose of the buffer world. Sure, they're nice tools, but not THAT nice. Now if it were doing the buffing for me or fetching me a beer between section passes that'd be another story....

What's next, LC 1-pad system for $10 a pad?

You know what, this was my thoughts too a few months ago when I first heard this. I had sticker shock too until I realized just how awesome this new Flex polisher is in design, feel and performance.
I remember the reaction that I got from Mike Phillips after he had the opportunity to shoot the video with Bob Eichelberg from Flex when I asked him his thoughts. He told me it was his new favorite polisher and that it was light, quiet, didn't bog down under pressure and was super easy to control. Most importantly, no matter what, it didn't overheat. This polisher stays cool!
Then at the SEMA Show a few weeks ago I lost count of how many people saw this machine in use and then eve gave it a try themselves, all to a positive reaction. We have so many products available today that I wish I had when I was a detailer full time. This new polisher is one of them.

I fell in love with it! It was so tempting to throw Mike's polisher in one of our bags! Wonder who gets serial #'s 00003 & 00004?

Re: The New FLEX PE14-2-150 Rotary Buffer
it looks nice BUT for the price know thanks its only 1lb lighter then a makita but 2 times the price. also I can get any part for my 5 makita's.THE up side to the flex is that it blows the air out up front as not to suck in as on the makita. that will help in keeping it cleaner in side the motor when using a pad washer as we do .so if the price comes down any time soon we will get one or to and give them a try and let you know how they work.but for now with the pricing going down these days on detailing its not coming soon. where will you get parts to fix them?
