Bumping this thread as I have thought through how I am going to approach this being my first convertible. Critique as necessary.

For the paint decon wash, I will try to avoid the top as much as possible. Once the paint decon is done, I will clean the top with RaggTopp and the RaggTopp brush. Once it has thoroughly dried, I will use the RaggTopp protectant. After that, I will tape the edges of the top, then secure beach towels over the top and up to the taped edges. This should keep all the polishing dust off the top. Another option would be to put the top down, but then I risk polishing dust all over the interior, so I think just covering it is the best option.

Would you agree? If you have other approaches/methods, I'd be open to additional suggestions.
