Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.
Agreed, I use BSD as a spray sealant after a wash. I have never used it as a QD, don't plan on ever using it as a QD. In this case, I find is superior for what I'm looking for to just about any other spray wax/sealant I have tried. I either do rinseless washes with 914, or traditional wash. I will use BSD once a month. Twice a year I use a finishing polish, followed by PNS. Frankly, my cars have never looked better, or stayed cleaner longer. I think I could easily get away with doing the cars in the spring, using BSD once a month and only have to do the polish and PNS once a year.

Sounds like you have a system that works for you. I want to try PNS, does it leave a slick surface ? Wasn't Sonax supposed to come out with a car wash that worked with spray&seal?

No, PNS doesn't leave a slick surface. The tactile feel is exactly the same as BSD to me. PNS can be a pain to work with if it is humid outside, at least in my estimation. Its' protective properties and self cleaning are really good. It is so hydrophobic, right up there with some of the slickest coatings. One can certainly feel the product left behind by PNS and BSD.

You'd think I'd know this but sometimes the "alphabet soup" confuses me too...also there's so many forum favorites you kinda stay focused on your own "Stuff".

Notes from Northeast Ohio - Put Beadmaker on my snow shovel. Couldn't say one way or the other if gloss increased, but snow did NOT stick to shovel.

That’s very promising because it may mean contaminants from driving won’t stick to a car
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.
Looking at the extended forecast there will be NO carwash anytime soon, so the double application of Brillant Maker will end up going 2 weeks before being washed. This will include, rain/sleet/snow and extreme cold (when parked at work). Its looking like 2 weeks with no carwash, a solid test for this "new to me" mixing of products, stay "tuned".
