Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.
No pictures but rained lightly all day. Beadmaker doing good at almost the 1 month mark. Did I mention no washes or topped with anything. Going to wash sometime this week and top with either beadmaker or my elixir I’m trying.

P&S has a soap called Pearl and at $20 a gallon it's a hell of a bargain. I've only used it in my IK Foam 9 and it works great. I put in 2 ounces of Pearl and top off with 1.3 gallons of water, I've gotta also try it in the 2BM wash at some point

ONR capful on the 32 oz. or gallon bottle is 1/2 oz. per Ivan La Croix. If you have an 8 oz. bottle it is 1/4 oz.

Think it says that on the AG page for the product as well. Spot on though.

sorry for reviving a slightly old thread but a curious newbie has a question...…………………..anyone have thoughts on Reload/BM mix? Just wondering if anyone may have tried it before I go mixing two totally different products without knowing that much about BM.

One has SiO2, one has other polymers. I don’t see anything bad coming from mixing. Reload streaks for some people, mixing with BM might squash that issue.

Thanks acuRAS82. Been using Reload for quite a while and really like it. Never had any issues with streaking though. I thought Reload was slick so BM sounds very interesting.

Glad you haven’t had any issues with the current version of Reload alone; some seem to, some seem not to. Probably depends on paint, climate, etc.
I think mixing two different products like this could lead to strengths from both, worst case weaknesses from both, or most realistically, somewhere inbetween. Whatever the result is, it’s definitely worth a shot in case you find it to be something special.

Do you meen if you mix it in the way of apply it on the panel with each other or are you thinking of mixing the liquids?
Don't see a real benefit with to mix the products into one liquid. Sure it can work and give you good results. But don't do it on a bigger surface if you do. As it's unknown how they reacts and works with each other. There are some that has tried to do a mix of BSD and BM with different outcomes. But then it's was cause of the little non slick feeling from the BSD on it's own they do this. So if you have no problems with Reload in your case when you apply it. I would go with apply them on their own and layer them to see if you getting a slicker finish than Reload in your case. So apply the Reload and then wait some time and apply BM on top of it. Is what I would test first.

I bought a small bottle of Beadmaker to try out and before i even finish the bottle i bought a gallon and i really like the product.... Until something better comes along :-)
