Thoughts on BM on glass.
I applied BM to my wife's windshield the day i applied it to the paint. It's been awesome so far according to her. Water beads right off. At this point, I'm thinking about putting it on my pizza because it hasn't disappointed me on anything else I've applied it to.
Tried Bead Maker last night on my 2011 red Honda accord which has very soft paint. It was polished 2 weeks ago with Sonax Perfect Finish, followed by Sonax PNS. Was rinse less washed last night with McKees37 N-914. Application & wipe off of Bead Maker was a breeze, no streaking even at 52 degrees. Initial slickness was awesome, but was even better the following morning. Since this was the first application I used about 1/3+ of the 16 oz. bottle. Future applications will be less since it will be used as a drying aid. I am glad I also got a gallon. I suspect this will replace Megs D156, but will confirm that after I have tested this a bit longer. So far very impressed.
So tonight I plan on foaming my car down using the IK Foam 9 and its filled with a popular UK soap endorsed by Forensic Detailing, that's it, no 2BM needed as the car is just dusty from the last wash on Monday. Its going to be interesting to see how the Beadmaker does with this soap. I mean I don't expect there to be a problem or anything but this soap really foams up in my IK Foam 9 and has NO gloss enhancers, pure CLEAN! I can't wait to get after it this evening!!
I think its great all the comments we're getting here so far, anyone on the fence at this point should've just fell over to the other side by now, LOL!
I'm able to announce that the beading a d slickness is still there after a double foaming and rinse with a mix of water and leftover WGU RW from last week. I'll end up ordering that gallon of Beadmaker around Christmas time and once it gets to 50 down here in the garage I will reapply...dry and a heavy coat, start as directed this time around [emoji6]
