Sorry I missed your reply. Thanks for the kind words. I bought it in early December and have since detailed it and topped the coating as noted below. Worth noting the finish is simliar to what we've seen early on with GTR's in that it's Nissan/Infiniti's Scratch Shield Paint. That said it came to me pretty much flawless with only a couple minor areas of swirls. I proceeded with care of course to insure no damage was done removing too much of the clear.
The car is Midnight Black Metallic, so in bright light or better yet, sunshine, the copper tones really do POP! It's winter so I've not had many chances to capture her cleaned up on a sunny day but this photo should give a fair look-see on the color. - Flex 3401 with LC Hybrid White light polishing Pads
- CarPro Essence Polish
- Two coats of McKee's 37 SiO2 Coating
from there I have done several rinseless washes with WG Uber and a bucket wash during a warm weekend with CarPro Reset which is my go-to wash product.
This month I cleaned her all up and topped the coating with Two coats of CarPro Gliss. I just did that in fact so I'll be sure to report back with my findings on performance.
