    Hi guys,

Here's yet another of my YouTube videos on how to properly and easily detail your engine bay (in French).

Cool video OrangeVe. I couldnt understand the words but that is just about the same exact technique I use.

Not so much.... Your video actually made it look slower and more painstaking.

Also, not to play forum police, but stealing the thunder of another forum member is ridiculous. ESPECIALLY when you are trying to gain attention for your product.

Great video. I would love to try it myself, but am quite scared to spray water into the engine bay. This coupled to the fact that I have no idea what anything in the engine bay is...a big no no for me.

Question: You mention degreaser, would an APC such as megs D101 APC be a good alternative?

    Thanks for the comment emmjaygti!

Yes an APC would do, such as the Chemical Guys All Clean+ if diluted as directed. It has to be a higher concentration for the engine bay in order for the product to act correctly.

I know lots of people are scared to detail their engine bays, but the truth is pretty much all modern cars since 2007 and up have engine bays that are protected and water proof. Manufacturer go through great lengths to insure no water infiltrates critical components.

As mentioned in the video, the only things I'd suggest protecting is putting a bag over your alternator if it's exposed, and any aftermarket high performance air filter (K&N style). If you don't want to use a water compressor, then just a good flow of water from your hose will also do. The important part is to dry the engine bay thoroughly once done. Using an air blaster such as the one I use in the video (links included in the video description) to dry off all water.

All in all, there isn't that much stress to have if you follow the steps properly.

    Hope this helps!
