    Hey buddy. I had a couple hours left on Consumer Reports. They actually recommended the Predator Series from Harbor Freight. The other recommended generators were ~$1000+.

    In addition, you can almost always find %20 off coupons.

    Looking at the specs, you're going to want AT LEAST 4000 running watt capacity.

    One more thing is that it is not an inverter so it does not output a "perfect" sine wave which is needed for sensitive electronics microprocessor based. I don't think the Carmen would be effected by this being a vacuum, boiler, etc.

    Could be worth a phone call though but I do believe you should be fine. IF by some chance it is needed, you would need a line conditioner and a surge protector.
