Cost effective rust/oxidation remover for chrome?

Hey guys im planning on completely detailing my parents hummer as a 29th annversiry present. They have a roof rack on it with 4 8" lights and 2 8" lights on the front bumper guard. The top 4 have rust on and the bottom 2 have oxidation. What are you all using to remove these impurities? I am sure that wolfgang metallwerks would work but its a little more expensive then id like to pay right now. So whats a good cost effective alternative?

Were the lights chrome or painted housings? Or some other bare metal finish?

You know Bob I used this a while back on a 8" drop down tow hitch I had on my f350. It worked very well. I forgot what the name of it was though so I'm glad you said it. I'm gonna pick some up tomorrow thank you.
