Suv mobile detail? I have questions

    I own a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I would like to have a 25 gallon water tank? a generator, hose and pressure washer and vacuum. Will 25 gallons be enough to wash a suv or truck (no mud).
suggestions of companies that i should buy the equipment from that i listed above would would be appreciated.
    Hopefully this works out.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

You know, i've thought about possibly buying a Jeep and doing this. Stripping and Rhino lining the interior. The only concern you'd have would be ventilation and whatnot. Check your local farm equipment store for the tank and i'd check a Lowe's or other hardware store for the rest of the stuff.

I've never measured the water used in a pressure wash but it's less than conventional. I'd guess around 4-5 gallons per wash.

Sounds like you're planning on installing the water tank in the back of your Jeep. If that's the case I'd be more concerned with weight and handling characteristics. Most tanks go in Vans and are mounted between the axels not over the rear one.

i bought a water tank 2 weeks ago from Tractor Supply. i ended up getting a 65 gal which was $142. i dont know if they had a 25 gallon tank, but they did have a 35 gallon. if you dont have a Tractor Supply you can also look in Orsleans. its basicly the same kind of store......bought a shop vac at lowes for $65. i think it was the 14 gallon and has a 4.5 hp..

After cleaning several crew cab F350 duallies i can tell you that we used around 30 gallons for each truck.
Dont forget to factor in filling your buckets. (roughly 8 gallons)
if you are pressure washing wheel wells and wheels, you can go through alot of water.

I will be purchasing a new tank for my new truck, it will be no less than 65 gallons.

The only thing you can do with 25 gallons is wash your hands !!! You might want to go bigger

Why not just use ONR for your washes except when you need a hose then use the clients water?

+1. I've never had an issue using clients water. 100ft worth of hose hooked into my pw works great.
