I don't have any personal experience with it but from what I've read Megs D151 should fit the bill.

Be care with the reflective vinyl strips. My suggestion is to avoid them.
IMO just wash dry clay and use D156 and you don't even have to clay. Clean the windows for the guys and sand a quick vacuum wouldn't hurt. That's what I do for our cars.

Wash them and wax them. Done. Trust me police cars get the crap beat out of them so it isn't worth the time and effort to do any paint correction. Whoever buys the car after its done as a police car can deal with it as it will be their personal car, but when it's still a police car, don't bother as they are work cars and not personal cars. I would be nervous to clay incase the decals came off

i like the spray wax idea i've head good things about it... i don't have to worry about the inside only getting 10 dollars a car for a basic wash or 20 to spiff it up a little more for when they have special events parades and such ill prob hand wax it ... have a good wash brush but a decent mitt for around the light bar and what not will come in handy also might get some of that matte tire shine from chemical guys

Re: what suppiles for washing/waxing police cars

I would wash them with a strong cheap wash like chemical guys citrus wash and gloss and then Duragloss aquawax and out the door for that price... And for a wheels and tires I would look at something like Megs all wheel brightner and something cost effective in their detailer line for tire shine...
