Need some advice and input on this.. mobile detailing
My only real option is to go mobile detailing.. All I've got is my Mustang, so space will be limited, what are all the essentials I'll need and I should be able to accomplish this? My biggest concern is I can't supply my own water?

Have you looked at towing a trailer? There are some sweet mobile set-ups on here.
'Cause there's just something women like about a pickup man.

I'm not looking to invest that much, at this time, plus I can't attach that thing to my baby lol ( I would also have no where to store it )

just my 2 cents, if you aim at doing some full detailings, the minimum space requirement is a normal 4 door-sedan. even that you have to do quite a lot of DIYs to make the water tank sit on the back seats.
If you insist with your mustang, your service is very much limited on 2 bucket wash and wax.
Just to remind you, if you regard your tang as your baby, never think about using it for your mobile detailing vehicle. Guarantee you it will be messy, no matter how careful you are.
Just my 2 cents

I have my own water and power available, however many of my customer prefer or don't care if I use their water and power (generators tend to be noisy), you just limit yourself when someone wants you to detail their car at their workplace where neither are available. Just ask the customer if you can use their water & power. That's the beauty of having a mobile business, start small (on the cheap) and reinvest your money to grow your business. They have low pressure water systems that would help with the water issue. Good luck in your detailing adventure.

I run my mobile detailing out of a MINI Cooper so space is very limited. I have a Honda 2000 generator and use waterless. So, it's doable in the stang.

I have a minivan I drive around to appointments nearby but do also have a 4 door sedan that I use frequently. When I take my sedan I always use a rinseless wash and just take a 5 gal bucket of water with me. That way I can refill my sprayer I use to apply the rinseless wash a few times and still have water on hand to refill any spray bottles, dampen carpets for cleaning, and anything else I need water for. Usually a 5 gal bucket will carry me through about 3 or 4 details depending on how bad the carpets are. I do also take a smaller bucket with me so that way I can pour water into the smaller bucket to dip rags into for carpet cleaning.
Whether I take my van or my sedan I usually just take about 2 plastic bins of supplies with me now which stores 3 or 4 polish options, and a few different waxes, about a dozen or so towels, extension cord, polishing machines, metro vacuum, and a steam cleaner. The bucket of water can ride shotgun with you and the rest can easily fit into your trunk and back seat.

I agree. Go rinseless and use a few water coolers to hold water. It can be done with some creativity and patience.
