O wow, small world. I have gotten some doctors to give me business. I meet most of my clients while doing landscaping.(thats what im majoring in and where I work part time as well)

I bet the landscaping gig is a good way to get new detailing customers. I detail for relaxation where others golf or whatever. I suspect most who are getting their lawns done also don't have enough time to do their cars as well.

i based my pricing on the area im in. its mostly afamily-oriented, blue-collar, military, management town. i also looked at competitors pricing and put in a few additional services that they charge for throughout the packages i have set-up. the main thing is to draw more from being mobile. pricing is tricky..too low and one may think u get what u pay for...too high and you may price yourself out of those who have their vehicles detailed. i dont do it right now, but i will charge by the hour for paint correction. but anything i do by hand is a flat rate. ask yourself this...how much do you want to make a day. there's a lot of ways to come up w/ prices, explore them all
