In most cases, yes. As a matter of fact, I use Optimum Car Wax as a clay lube/wax applicator with an Optimum Clay Mitt.

On the other hand, I have a lot of clients who do come back in 3 months. So if I use a wax that is good between 3-5 months in New England, it also doesn’t matter if I am using a product that is perceived as having low durability to some.
What a terrific web site!

Well that sounds like an ideal situation.

Re: what do you charge?
I'm just starting detailing professionally.
I've been charging $125 as my base price for cars and regular trucks. And it goes up from there.
I'm literally 2 weeks in and I've been booked at least 4 days a week for one job. Eventually I would like to get to 2 cars a day M-F. But I've been starting at 9 and I usually don't finish a car until 1-1:30.
Finding business is the hard part. Especially where I live.
