Re: Entry level combo that's made me a ton of $$$

I would imagine it would do just fine with a foam pad as really it's intended as more of a sealant then a "polish" that's just how I use it personally.

I don't own any MF pads & don't want to starting buying them just to trying this combo(on my own vehicles). I have the rupes system with their pads & the porter cable with many lake county pads. one vehicle is 2015 Black ram & the other is a new mustang. the pickup has been detailed but I'm anxious to get going on the mustang. also when I do the pickup I'm not trying to get every single swirl out. the clear coat seems pretty soft & I don't want to remove to much. I plan on keeping this truck for many more years. thanks and great work as always.

Well I have given up washing, all washing, it's on my package description that the car must be cleaned 48hrs before I arrive for the appointment. Also all appointments require a deposit. I've so far had no issues this whole year (even had someone wash 5 cars yesterday).

This is really because I'm in the land of $20 "details" and these fly by night detailers are everywhere and when one goes away just like a hydra many more spawn.

I am the only coat at your home coater. One of 3 polishers and 1 or 3 that offer coating, one guy does EXO the other offers Mr fix it 9h.

•Just curious about the car-washing Step:
    -Since you have:
    ”stopped washes altogether for 2018...”
-Then: how, when, where, and by whom does
    it take place? TIA.

I have not had any issues like that with this product. I did with D166 when it first came out.

This up coming year I'm looking at adding a new polish or two and a different AIO to my inventory as well.

What are you charging for doing that? Sounds like something that might be a bit better than a cleaner wax if the paint is in decent shape.

My cleaner wax package is a 5 hours job on a small car. I am guessing it would take you about the same amount of time to do that process?

Also, is Essence plus easier to remove than the regular Essence once it has dried? Because Essence is almost impossible to remove if you let it dry.

How many passes and what kind of passes are you doing on a panel?

And a final question, what kind of damage removal are you seeing? Would it compare to a cleaner wax, a polish?

Re: Entry level combo that's made me a ton of $$$

Starting price is $280 takes about 2 hrs, I did 6 cars yesterday alone across 12 hrs.

Plus is MUCH easier to remove compared to regular essence and drying up has not been an issue.

Passes vary I go by the way it's tracking across the paint. If it's blotchy I go over again until o get those nice "roll of dimes" look to the pass.

Here is a video of a test section and I take these videos on every car as a "proof of work" and send to the clients as I go so they see the process and what's actually happening so they know there is a difference.

Thanks. Will look into it next season. I alway re-do my packages each year, looks like it takes you less time than doing a cleaner wax. I always calculate 3 hours to do that. Difference would be in protection applied and amount of swirls removed/covered.

I have never used Netshield, I am guessing any spray-on, wipe away sealant would do (Like Reload or HydroSilex)? Planning to try Hydrosilex next year as a replacement for reload.

I'm pretty sure you ask me this at least once a year..lol, I don't wash and I don't /didn't do the wheels. Paint only for me my friend, sounds and seems very weird but at the moment it's working and working well.
