Leaving flyer on parked car: ultimate sin?

Hey guys, I'm trying to brainstorm some ideas to maximize what can be done to parked cars.

I wouldn't want anyone touching my car to leave a flyer, therefor I can't do it myself.

Unless door hangers could be an idea? But again its even worst if your now touching paint instead of window/wiper.

Creating a specific flyer saying it was put there with maximal care?

There must be a way to leave our info to a parked luxury car in a parking lot.

What are your suggestions or methods?

If you stuck that on my vehicle, removable or not you'd never get any business from me

    IMHO bad idea.

I'd rather have a flyer under my wiper than that sticky thing as neat as it is.

do you have any other ways of advertising,,business cards at an auto parts store ,car wash or maybe a body shop who doesn't do detailing?a billboard with one of your best looking details on it?

I'd find any alternative to putting stuff on peoples cars,,thats what fly by nighters do IMHO ,the people who want details on their cars will seek out someone to do it,you just have to advertise where they look

If the car is parked near a light pole, a support column in a parking garage, or a street sign, I would post my advertisements there. They would not be directly on the car but chances are the owner would see them.

I hate window fliers as much as I hate telemarketing. Neither would ever get a chance at a positive response from me.

I wouldn't put anything on anyone's car. But that's me. If you do decide to put something on the car I would be careful about the wording. You definitely don't want to leave something on their car that implies their car looks bad.

Maybe something like...If sometime in the future you find yourself needing auto detailing...

Not that exactly, but you get my point.

Just went to a local show and watched a detailer walking the crowd signing up car owners for a raffle. No cost for the car owners just an entry card with name, phone number and email address for you entered into raffle. Top prize a ceramic coating.

We're a booth sponsor at a local classic car show coming up next Saturday in the high end retirement community we serve. That's a really good idea. I may do something like that. I go there once a month as is, but we get so much interest there that I could easily go 2-3 times per month and spend all day in the community.

Very good idea. Instead of a ceramic coating. I’d give away 2-3 mid-level details. Get more people in your shop, more exposure. Still a great concept.
