Re: How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?

In Metro Detroit I currently charge $125.00 for cars. It is my "Option 1", and the most economical process currently on my menu.

For larger vehicles like full size trucks, vans, and SUVs there is a $50.00 up charge, but I'm considering taking It down to $30.00.

Re: How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?

Mine starts at $150. It usually won't go beyond $200 for an AIO exterior, unless really caked with dirt, contamination, on a large vehicle.

    Wash
    Iron remover
    Clay
Usually Blackfire AIO (not with the intention to really correct) milder enhancement, oxidation removal, clay induced and general marring, etc.

Yeah, you probably should have asked for more specifics because I think some people have a different idea of a one step judging by the pricing listed.

Re: How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?

I'm just researching prices in my area as I develop my menu, but I believe what you describe is going to come in at $130.00 - $150.00 for cars, with a $35.00 upcharge for small crossovers, $50.00 for large crossovers and minivans, and $75.00 extra for large SUVs and trucks.

That puts me about 10% less than competition in my area, which I feel is reasonable, as 85% of my knowledge is based on what I know from being on AutoGeek, and 15% (so far) is based on actually doing work. I'm not really going to be "competing" with other detailers, but starting out with friends, family and word of mouth. I'm fortunate enough that this will be a side hustle for me.
