    Exclamation Spinning my wheels...naming

This is will be my first post…

    I’m considering starting a detailing hobby job+

I’ve been spinning my wheels for weeks regarding naming.

Hopeful to use a related word like luxury. Too, feels sexy.

Secondly, emphasizes I’m a female owned i.e. Damsel Detailing

Thirdly, specializing in black paint i.e. Indigo, Onyx or Obsidian

Logo = A hood maybe a reflection of a woman

Here were a few other ideas: Subterranean, Sinister, Morticia Auto Spa, or Luxxotic (made-up)

Later, I’d need to make sure the domain’s available.

Thanks in advance for your feedback! Additional questions, let me know. Rachelle

    Welcome to AGO!

I like where you're headed thus far- I kinda feel the name "Luxxotic" which kind emphasizes the fine automobile clientele you're after!

Even for daily driven automobiles, with proper branding, you can make the customer feel like they're experiencing a luxury service- and at the end of the day being proud of your work and taking excellent care of your customers is what its all about!

If you don't mind me asking, where in the Midwest are you located?

    Again, welcome!

    Welcome Rachelle...

Not easy to come up with name but will get easier with some time---don't rush. It'll come to you.

I like the name "Luxxotic". The question is, is this easy to remember? And more importantly, easy to spell? Here's a good read from Mike in attached link.

    Justyna Brys.

A female owned business. She's one of top detailers from Belgium. I just learned of her when Mike announced the cordless Flex at SEMA. Thought it'll be helpful for you.

    Re: Spinning my wheels...naming

Good morning Tom, Thanks for the lead on Justyna! I see her with Jeep toys #girlcrush I have read Mike's article on naming. I agree...not rushing the processes except eager to have a domain. Then, starting a website and etc. Naturally, I'd use my name/nickname(s) except my name gets pronounced "Rachel" rather than Rachelle. I appreciate the helpful tips! Rachelle maybe---"RC"

Welcome to AGO! You will be great in your new venture!

    Rachelle's Rocket Car Wash

    Rachelle's Waxamillion Car Boutique wash

    Rachelle's Boutique Car Detailing

If I can think of more I will let you know. In the meantime, enjoy just having fun thinking about your NEW (or Possible) new hobby! I detail as a hobby. The last ride I did was John Cena's (he sold it to my customer) Mercedes Benz SLS. I did not know it was his old ride until the customer told me. John Cena did a You Tube video of his SLS! Parts of having fun detailing! Welcome to AGO and have an awesome day.

When you do come up with a name, please let us know!

BTW, here is the car I detailed. I let my customer know to take some pics and send them to me so I can have proof I am not a BS'R....LOL Hopefully, he will send them and I can post them. If he doesn't then hopefully you can take my word for it. If not I completely understand! Remember, he sold this car to my customer.
