Re: Detailing a customers car at home vs. a self wash car wash

Haha no jinx! Now I'm more worried about getting into an accident or something while in a clients car. I didn't think about it much until paul_g brought it up. Im thinking i should just set appointments with people and go to their house if they have running water lol.

Dude! Earlier today I drove an E Class Mercedes to my house because the situation was just too inconvenient parking wise at the clients house today [would've had to detail while parked on a busy sidewalk instead of their normL driveway so I suggested my house/driveway instead] It was literally only 2.5 blocks away that I drove that car, but I was as carefull as carefull gets! Lmao. I nearly stuck my arm out for hand signals! Lol. J/k, but seriously I wasn't very comfortable driving a customers 65k Benz knowing Anything can happen._.

I made sure to text the owner that I made it home Safely. It's only a couple blocks but I would've felt better getting that same text if someone was driving my expensive ride any distance, right? Lol.

Thats scary dude haha. Its not like we can't drive, its that you never know about other people! Similar situation man, I picked up my barber's Range Rover this morning and worked on it at my house. I live a few miles away from the shop but i was being as careful as possible to try and not to get into a sketchy situation. Reassurance texts definitely help.
