    Iron x

Hello there I'm new to the whole detailing side of car care. I have a question about iron x I just used it on the wife's Tahoe and it looks like it removed a lot of contamination from the paint surface. So my question is how often do you use it this vehicle sits outside 24/7. I'm also going to be putting a coat of 845 on it

It all depends on your environment, though I iron x my vehicles at the beginning and the end of each warm season(spring, summer, fall) but you have to set such iron x time frame the makes your detail bug contemp both financially and results wise

For me it is just too expensive to use as often as i would like. I do my car twice a year.

    Re: Iron x

I will IronX once every 1-2 years on my vehicles; depending on what they go through.

And on the comment that you used one bottle on a Tahoe, seems like a lot of product used to me; and I have detailed large vehicles. I will spray and then after some dwelling I will spreadh the product with a detailing/soft sponge. It definitely saves product and $$$ with no loss on effect.

    Re: Iron x

I do yearly or sooner if I notice a lot of contamination when I'm claying (do that quarterly). Iron X also comes in a gel which clings a bit better to the vertical surfaces and wheels (might use less product). Using a soft sponge is a great idea (I just wish I longer arms though to beat the smell)

    Re: Iron x

With a DD that sits outside 24/7 I would use Iron-X once a year to clean it up. I would combine it in a spring detail with a polishing session to get the vehicle ready for summer.

I believe it easily.I tried diluting it 50/50 didn't work to bad did the job on a 14 370 z.on a older car dilution wouldn't be as effective.so I have 2 bottles one diluted the other full strength.
