    Re: Dr. Colorchip Part II

Just used to fix multiple spots on front bumper. Applied as per the video and smeared across as directed. Waited only 5 minutes then SealAct. Worked very well. I did apply to one spot but forgot to SealAct until 2 days later. Would not come off so wet sanded and burned through the clear. Lesson learned put masking tape next to chips you are trying to fix and use the proven method. Also had large chip on fender that I tried to fix in 2 steps. Filled with a blob then Sel Act. Removed all the paint. So next run is layer and then SelAct the final coat. So far very happy with the product.

    Re: Dr. Colorchip Part II

Update on the "monster chip" in the fender. I applied another thin coat and waited a day. Next day went to apply a second thin coat and the paint was already above surface. Gently block sanded with 3000 grit for quite some time and levelled completely. Compound and polished and quite happy with the results. You cannot detect it by feel, but you still can with your eye. I suspect the edges of the chip are not fully covered and only way to totally fix would be re-spray. Might try air brushing as haven't done that yet.
