If I put some in two little bottles like that should be good! They are LDPE plastic. hopefully that works. :P
If you decide to pour it off into smaller bottles be very sure you mix the 845 REALLY well first. 845 separates really easily, and I'd hate for you to fill up bottles that contained a bad mixture of the ingredients.

If you get the flip-top cap AG offers with 845 (listed at the bottom of the product page) you can control the flow of product much better and should have any issues applying too much product.

I was thinking of getting some of the megs bottles, but we'll see. I would need to justify the shipping costs to Canada. It is the only reason I haven't ordered anything from autogeek yet. This is by far the best site for finding detailing products, but the shipping and duty fee's would kill the price for me. Things like Megs x-press wax is really hard to find here in Canada without someone jacking the price up to unrealistic numbers. This detailing addiction is expensive enough as it is haha! Would be nice to see autogeek create a Canadian distributor that actually carries a good range of products. hint hint. places like eshine are always out of stock, and the prices are above average. Anyway I still love this site either way. Always useful, and it's why I got a bottle of 845 on the way. With a few CarPro products to try out too!

Thanks for the tips. I'm really looking forward to trying 845 out. I may end up sticking a layer on sooner than I planned lol

Re: Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

i'm getting first my bottle of the 845 this month, and i plan to use this product on a car that's a month old. First wax applied on it was the Mother's synthetic wax. Then it has been maintained with mothers spray wax, and mothers Instant Detailer in between waxes.

Do i still need a pre-wax polish before i apply the 845? Or do i just wash and dry, then apply the 845?

Appreciate any suggestions you guys can share.

To be honest, the car sounds like it is already well protected. I'd wait until your current wax has worn out and then apply the 845. It probably wouldn't hurt to put it on top of the existing wax if you wanted to do it now.

Finally applied 845 to my car today. Why isn't it slick like waxes normally are?

Bringing this back up, maybe it's been answered...I plan to do a full correction on a car this weekend and was wanting put WG sealant 3.0 down first and then putting 845 on top of that. Thoughts? Wait time between applications?

I would wait 24 hours to apply the 845 Let the WG cure.

@Nick, do you still recommend Lake Country Hydro-Tech as your pad of choice for applying C845?
