wow, simply staggering in detail. I only got a chance to peruse this via my iPhone, but look forward to reviewing it again when I get home.
It's grat to see you on action in person at AG, I can only imagine what it's like when you are on a roll doing one of your write-ups.
Thanks for what you do so well Mike. :dblthumb2:
Re: Removing Orange Peel & Sanding Marks with the Griot's ROP and the Wolfgang Twins
Great article. :dblthumb2:
You were right when you said we would be surprised. I am very surprised that you used a total of 600 back and forth strokes (200 for each grit) sanding on each section of that factory painted hood.
That makes me feel a little less nervous about how fast I could potentially sand through when I go to try feather sanding on those pigtails on my truck. I was thinking maybe 8 or 10 strokes in a small test spot using the 1" square pieces of sandpaper and then checking to see where I am at.
Thanks Mike

Great read Mike! Awesome write-up. This is the kind of article I would expect to find in a car magazine. :)

Mike
Thank you for the kind words, I don't think I could ever write for a magazine however as they really like short copy writers.
:)

Re: Removing Orange Peel & Sanding Marks with the Griot's ROP and the Wolfgang Twins
Great write up.
But I do have a question,
Would it be beneficiary to use 2K, 2.5K and 3K on the same spot and then remove scratches? I would think that it would minimize the amount of scratches and then would be easier to remove them.
On the other hand it would remove more CC and would lead to issues down the road.
I think I just answered my own question but any input would be great.
