Why use $8 in tools when you can use a $700 tool?
I used to be a Mercedes Benz mechanic and we had an elaborate tool setup to fix this issue. It’s available and I’m sure it can be adapted to lots of different vehicles, if anyone needs to spend a bunch of $$ on some obscure tools(lol). I’ll link to it if anyone is curious
