Forgot about this one. Very good product. Many don't know it doubles as a paint QD.

If I am not coating glass I always reach for Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. You will get good results with any off the shelf wax too, it just won't last as long.

    Re: Windshield water repellent

Griots glass sealant works well but was expecting it to last longer. Only got a month from it in the NW during rainy season. Did use wind shield alot.

Got a little better performance out of DP glass coating but only cleaned and clayed windshield didn’t polish as i just polished before the griots. It did start sheeting the water off at lower speeds than the griots.

I don’t think it’s a true glass coating but definitely alot stouter than griots and super easy to apply

Gonna polish this time first and give the DP another go

Duraglass Rain Repel is a good product. Use it a few times and was satisfied.

Does the GRIOT'S GARAGE GLASS SEALANT smear after using your wipers?

I have not had this experience. Works well. Got about a month during rainy season

I also haven't experienced that. I'm at 4 months now and it definitely needs to be reapplied.

I have used it for a couple of years and never had any issue with it smearing. Sam and Nick both have some great how to videos on that product. Key is to let it cure at least two hours before going out into the rain storms.

Once you hit about 40-mph then I rarely used my wipers and it last longer with that method.

Has anyone used GYEON Q² VIEW WINDSHIELD QUARTZ COATING? Or, would you just stick with the Griots Glass Sealant?
