CBEAST Battery Life aka the FLEX Cordless 3401 by Mike Phillips

does anyone know a release date for the CBeast? I see it on Flex's web site but no info about when it's coming to the US. Also, does Flex have any plans to release a multi-battery charger? I'd guess no, but a CBeast + a 4 battery charger would be KILLER! I really want a cordless polisher, I don't know if I should get the XFE15, or wait for the Beast. Since it's on Flex's site I'm guessing it should be arriving soon. But, with no release date I'm wondering if it's still a ways off.

Last I heard this the release is being delayed to late Fall 2019. I too have been anxiously waiting for the CBEAST and was hoping to able to have one for this years car show season but it looks like maybe I'll have one around Thanksgiving. I know that Flex shipped 50 units into the US for testing last spring but beyond that very little information has been released.

Wonder if they're still having issues with the 3 mounting studs Shearing off like the XCE pre production unit and the xfe7-15 v1/v2.

Problem solved.


When you see the new RED backing plate - that's the solution. They redesigned the backing plate to use tabs that set into slots on the drive backing so the bolts no longer take the brunt of the force created from dead stop to running.
