Dear Mike. Another excellent in-depth review, and a flawless final result.
How would you compare the Adapt to the equivalent in the Menzerna line?
2500 perhaps? Best regards and thanks in advance.

Yes. I think it would be in the Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 area of cut and finish.

Paint felt smooth after doing the Baggie Test but as a good practice I wanted to mechanically decontaminate the paint so I chose the simple method of using clay.

Sometimes you'll see the color of whatever the contaminant is on the paint transfer to the clay and I always find this interesting when it happens. (Didn't see much but some black stuff)

Plus... while many on the forum use Nanoskin products including myself some also use clay so I like to give all options some attention.

    Good question.

    Excellent Review Mike!

Always funny to see detailers having to correct other detailers work.

As you noticed, the HD Polish is more of a Fine Cut Polish.

It has a finer finish than HD Adapt, yet not needed in this case.

Sad really at this point in time but the reality of the industry.

That's my experience plus it had already been a long day and doing a second step would have put me home around 2-3 in the morning.

Mike, great job as always! It's always good to get your perspective on polishing products, especially since I can't just try them all, being a casual detailer. One question though: Isn't the car really a Packard?

I'll be honest, I thought the paint looked pretty good at the beginning.. I could see the swirls and holo's no doubt, but OH MY!!!!!!! Those finished shots are just JAW DROPPING! The depth in that paint, the clarity, and the pop... Can't wait to get my hands on a flex and put some time behind it.. Thank you for this write up!

Mike got the shimmer and gloss out of that paint! Amazing results.

Like it or don't like it, there's something to be gained by forced rotation and forced oscillation when it comes to powering through a project.
