Saw this video yesterday. It's a good video and great results using their MF system.

Wow, I thought the regular MF cutting disc already had a lot of cutting ability! Mike, I know it's pad,polish and paint dependent, but on a scale of 1 to 10 what would you rate the cutting ability of the regular cutting disc vs the x-cut? If that makes any sense!

So, D302 and the new finishing disc is supposed to finish well on soft paint?

That's what they said. I hope it's true. I haven't had a lot of trouble with the previous system, but have noticed that occasionally the finishing wax does not completely clear up the DA haze/marring left by the D300. I'm guessing the D302 and the new finishing disc will solve this problem.

Love the idea of the new pad. Since they use a McGuire's DA is it safe to use with a forced DA such as the flex 3401.

I would gather the MF system is still not the best option for finishing on soft paint.
