Re: Brand Yourself, Brand your Forum Nickname and Brand your Business Name

Absolutely great advice Mike, I've been thinking about my user names while reading, and i have not been consistent, most have my first name and a number, just trying to keep it short, but I'll have to think on that a bit.
My Business name is long but the name alone needs no further description:

    "Scott's Mobile Headlight Restoration Service"

    My full name: Scott Summerson

My user name here: SSLightRestore Should maybe make it "Scott@LightRestore" as this is my Biz email.

    My website: LightRestore.com

    Got me thinking...

    Thanks!

Thanks Mike for all your experience and teaching's and another valuable and wise write-up of infomation.

I've Used stang_krazy for many years all over different forum's and first seen and read this aritcle years ago on MOL and it has always stuck with me.

It's funny my wife always tells me that I can't remember nothing but It's odd that I can remember something Mike Phillips or Several other guys I look up too has wrote or said years back that I do remember. LOL!!!

    Anyway thanks Mike

Re: Brand Yourself, Brand your Forum Nickname and Brand your Business Name

I am currently thinking of a name for my detailing business.

I like the name 'Before & After' and had some mock business cards made up. Would it be better to just have my real name in my business then?

ie. Niko Molina is my name so...

    Molina's Auto Detailing
    Niko's Auto Detailing
    etc.?

Yes I am in it for the long-haul.

I think the name would help with your branding. And you're blessed with an interesting name that makes it more interesting, vs "John's Auto Detailing", just doesn't have much pizzazz. How about using the "Before/After" idea in your slogan. Highlight it just under your business name on your business card/brochure/signage.

I like that. It's actually going to be either 'Niko's Mobile Detailing" or "Molina's Mobile Detailing"

Not sure if I want to go with my first or last name lol.

But yeah that Before/After could be worked into a slogan. Good idea man.
