    And you are 100% absolutely correct. If I were to have cleaned and protected the top first I protective tape would not stick to the canvas. Same for a vinyl top, if you clean and protect a vinyl convertible top first and then try to place tape on the vinyl around the back window the tape will not stick.

    I receieved a late Christmas present today. Thanks so much Mike! I was already planning to pick up 303 Protectant and 303 Fabric Guard but both were included in this 303 goodie package along with Meguiar’s Plastx. I look forward to trying them out. I just bought a 2014 Toyota Prius for my son so I have just the blank canvas for the 303 Touchless Sealant. Thanks for everything you do Mike to make us better and more knowledgeable!

    Thanks for playing! Also - you can use the Fabric Protectant for other uses. I think my wife has used for carpets, both inside cars and inside the house. It's a fabric protectant - it probably doesn't care what or where the fabric is...


    Here's my review for the 303 Fabric Protectant, it's just an old 2-door Ford of sorts....

    many years ago on conv. back plastic windows i would use megs #7 and back then it would clear up the plastic .
