Re: windshield
I recently was doing a customer's car and it had water spots on the windshield. After I finished the paint, I ran my orange Griot's Garage pad with HD Speed over it and it wiped them right out. I thought I was going to have to reach for 3D Eraser, but I didn't.

I use the exact same thing, Chris.
Another reason I love my Speed. Lol

Re: windshield
Griots fine glass polish and rayon glass pads. Removes water spots and polishes up glass nice.

I’ve seen where Meguiars Supreme Shine
Rubber & Vinyl Protectant has provided
that shiny interior finish the OP seems to relish
[for reasons only Heaven, (or maybe Jon Skeet),
would know].
Meguiars Supreme Shine Protectant, interior protectant, rubber and vinyl protectant, plastic protectant, vinyl dressing, UV dash protectant, meguiars

Re: windshield
Not sure what color your dash is but making it shinny can cause glare issues that are really annoying.

I’ve yet to actually witness that in my lifetime.. As far as I’m concerned it’s a myth.

Re: windshield
I stopped using dressings on my interior a while ago because they outgassed on my glass. That’s annoying.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.
