What products do you show in your boat detailing class?


One of people that attended the Texas Roadshow Class is also taking the 2020 Boat Detailing Class. We only teach the boat class once a year)


He sent me this question,

What products do you use for compound and polish?

Just curious I’m using the 3m perfect-it system and not liking the results of the polish it dries too quickly and requires me to almost scrub it off.

Using dewalt rotary at 1400 rpms wool pad.

Great question and just like I share the pictures from my classes on this forum I also answer questions on this forum, not in e-mail. Only one set of eyeballs see the info in an e-mail. Forums are powerful.


The best documented boat class I've ever been able to put together is the boat class in 2018. It takes many hours to go through the pictures taken at a class and then do something with them. Do something means crop, resize, rename, upload and insert. This is a lost skill among the masses now days.

Also - we use a LOT of tools in our boat detailing class. Just like all our car detailing classes. When you were at the Texas Roadshow Class you used a LOT of tools. Same thing in the boat class.
