Re: Installing a Ceramic Paint Coating? You MUST have a GREAT hand held light to avoid high spots!

Just sent this link to 2 people via e-mail.

If you're going to install coatings you MUST have a GREAT hand held light.

Or pay the piper in pain when you discover high spots the next day - worse, your customer discovers high spots after they get their car home.

    Pain.

Don't learn the hard way, get a great light BEFORE you install a coating.

Nah... they both work equally well. The Speed Master light has 3 Kelvin options with the first one being kind of yellow. I never use this yellow option much but Yancy likes it sometimes for our video work.

The MiniMatch was always one of my favorite. I just now looked and sad to say, it's discontinued on the AG store.

It's probably the most important aspect related to working with coatings.

    Why?

All a person has to do is go through the completely MISERABLE experience of finding high spots after the install, that must be either polished or compounded in order to remove to appreciate a great hand-held light.

Don't install a coating without one.

Too bad it was discontinued. Thanks for the insight.
