I'm not here to tell you what to do, you do want you want. But I am telling you that black is the most difficult color to correct, must less on an older exotic. I would estimate the cost to respray that car easily over $30,000. Think, that's all I'm asking you to do.

So you are going to show her work... that isn't yours?

I'm guessing you want to just show her before and afters and that you are not going to claim the pics as your own work?

I agree with the poster who said

go to junkyard. buy a panel.. and show here what you can do to paint that is scratched, in bad condition etc.... give here a 20 min presentation

She will have a great understanding of what your offering and your correction abilities

I think you're much better off doing a demo on a junk panel as opposed to showing pictures of other detailer's work. This gives you an opportunity to let the customer see how you work, see what goes into the work, and gives the client a real life representation of what can be achieved.

    Re: Need some persuasion help.

I think many unknowingly mislead or misunderstand DETAILING vs PAINT CORRECTION

I truly believe Detailing is just a real thorough cleaning and PAINT CORRECTIONS is a specialty add on service that requires the use of a polishing machine to REDUCE/REMOVE DEFECTS IN PAINT

Define the terms Detailing & Paint correction

You know what BlackHawk, you're right. The color is what's really important here. The fact that it's an older exotic that probably 10 people on this forum are qualified to touch with a polisher isn't important.
