    Mobil Auto Detailers. Experience please

How can you run a Mobil detailing service.

It's impossible to wash a car in direct sun light

Do you use some type of canopy

Meguiars ultimate wax is sun friendly. Wash one panel, then spray. Wash one panel, then spray. Spray whole car and dry. Waterless washes are your friend. Polish the side of the car that is facing away from the sun, flip car, repeat. Rain or sun directly over head? $90 canopy from walmart and two $15 canopy walls. Rainy day showing on news? Try to schedule a interior. If not, use that day to advertise or bust out that handy dandy canopy! I live in Seattle so rain is a constant battle. Its uphill climb but once it gets going, you will not regret starting.

I have the ozark 10x10 straight leg. Make sure you get straight leg since a 10x10 slant leg one actually only covers about 8x8 feet, therefor the cheaper price. I also have two ozark walls for the canopy. I can set it up by myself in about 15 minutes.

I am mobile and have been since 2005. I do rims and tires first, Then do the bugs on front of car, After that I wash the roof, hood, trunk lid and side that has shade on it first then go around and do other side. When drying I start with the side that has the sun on it and do windows first, hood, roof trunk lid and side of car with sun. Just gotta move fast.

The water spots will dry before you get to dry them. Quick detailed?

Thats how I do it down here in sunny florida. No canopy. Now if you can find some shade use it.
