Thanks Mike. I believe the issues with these proportioners are likely due to the tube length and interference, as you depict, with the bottle bottoms. Discovered what I believed to be that problem with a 32oz optimum Car Wash bottle and appropriate proportioner.
Also, very, very clear and detailed pictorial to show how it all works. The simpler and more graphic, the better the answer. Appreciate the effort for a simple, but disconcerting problem.
See ya.

What a great idea! But when are you guys going to finally embrace the metric system?

I am going to guess that the answer is no, because I have not any luck with the device when using it with my bottle of Meguiar's Hyper Wash.
Either that, or I'm doing it wrong. Any advice, Mike?
Thanks.

I actually like it when people bring up old threads like this one...
To keep things in context, The Critic is talking about the question asked of me in this post,

If I ever did get back to the above question and do any kind of checking or testing I don't remember the outcome.
My guess is "no" as it's trying to push a thick liquid up a thin tube and as the saying goes....
Something's gotta give....
In these case a person can use a simple measuring cup, I have 3 different measuring cups out in the garage and one by my coffee maker.
That or use the Glug-Glug Method.

Mike,
I tried it with dp extreme shampoo and not its far to thick to work effectively but it is really easy to clean and I am sure I will reuse it again soon!

The metric system is only used to measure drugs over here.
