    Pre-Wax Cleanser

Will Griots Pre-Wax Cleanser or Menzerna Top Inspection remove existing wax/sealant, or can these products be used to get a 'clean start' so to speak with detailing mist products on LSP?

I ask because sometimes after a few applications of detailer, you can get a streaky or cloudy appearance. A bucket wash will remove the detailing product while preserving your LSP. Wondering if these spray 'cleansers' designed for use between polish stages or prior to LSP can be used to safely clean down to the LSP without stripping or removing it.

So, pre-wax cleanser will remove the lubricating oils in the polish that allow for extended 'work time'
But does it strip paint sealants and LSP waxes once cured?

Yes. These panels inspection sprays are formulated to remove polishing residues. They will not remove an LSP. For LSP removal you will need something abrasive to remove them.

No. It will not strip an LSP.

    Re: Pre-Wax Cleanser

The only proven way to strip an LSP is by using a polish.

    Re: Pre-Wax Cleanser

Good info - thank you. If you don't have the time or the need for a bucket wash, seems like a panel inspection spray after a spray wash product will get you a nice clean surface for a freash application of detailer or spray wax.
