I looked into this but it sounds like a lot of work and elbow grease prior to applying this product.

Like removing every gram of foreign matter deposited on your tires.

I would do all that if this thing lasts 2 years but no..it says it will last just a couple of months.

    •I like products like Optimum
    Opti-Bond (OOB) for tires.
    -There is absolutely no chance
that OOB will ever stain the
    vehicle's paint...either fore or
    aft...of the tire/wheel assemblies.

    •For the exterior's trim:
    -Solution Finish (SF).
-Once SF has totally cured...top it
off with Ultima's Paint Guard Plus.

Sounds like 3 different products instead of one, which the OP wanted.

So buy 3 products instead of one?

What about a single product that can address the exterior trim and tires? Like TTGP?

And why apply solution finish and then top it off with paint guard plus? Don't they have the TTGP product just for exterior plastic and tires?

In addition, applying all these products sound like lot of work and time. Pretty sure I am looking for the one product that will cover both tires and exterior trim and be done quick instead of 3 or 4 products and waiting for them to cure and what not. Not to be left out...washing all the pads afterwards.

    I see.

    OK...
I won't waste my time trying to explain
all the reasons (both conjectural and
    empirical) behind my previous product
    suggestions...

So...I'm going to make it real easy for you:
Optimum Opti-Bond for tires and trim.

    Next.

Re: Product Suggestions for Exterior Trim & Tires

How about one product for the tires, a coating, because posiblely none of the non coating ones can live up to your requirements. Then clean your trim well and maintain it with a non trim staining wax or sealant if the vehicle is new and the trim is in good condition.

If the trim is neglected, then like said above; clean, solution finish, and protect that if you want periodically.

Edit: Having coated tires makes maintaining them very easy. Once with the fuss of doing them, which isn't all that bad, and no weekly messing with tire dressings. I often just rinseless wash them with my wheels. I also dislike using most all tire shine products, but also dislike brown tires.

Seconded. It cleans and protects, works equally well on rubber and textured black plastic trim.
