whatever OPT sells. so, now, Gloss-Coat. mainly because Opti-Coat has made my life so much easier re: keeping my vehicles looking better longer whilst being easier to clean. also, because Dr. G is a paint chemist and is based in the US so it's easy to reach the dude who actually makes the coating. all the political bickering and professional detailer conspiracy theories aside, the very fact that the guy making it has massive experience making the very paint the coating goes on is a HUGE plus for me.

i don't have personal longevity info back yet on Gloss-Coat but i can 100% attest to the ridiculously easy application, insane slickness/gloss and its wild aversion to water.

Every products is made by a "Chemist" and can test their products to the competition
products. Some engineer by reverse process to make a product very much like competitors product.

in his career, Dr. G took part in formulating paint systems for major brands in the US prior to this whole OPT thing. so, his established understanding of the substrate for which he makes his coatings is a great confidence point for me.

plus, like i said - being in the US and very accessible is the icing on the cake. it doesn't hurt that the guy is just a flat out good dude. i've met him many, many times and am impressed.

I see that you have tried the Ceramic Pro 9H, I am trying to find it for sale to general public, but looks like there is no way I can buy it, not in Europe, not in US. They offer to come and apply for you, but they won't sell the product.
If you don't mind , can you let me know where did you get it? Or may be its some different name in US?

Ceramic Pro 9H is a professional coating and can only be installed by approved detailers. Thats why you can not find it made for sale.

I found one in Russia, they actually sell it, but was thinking someone in US has to sell that.

I switched to Gyeon products. I would reccomend prime, ease of use,gives a real carnuba richness but extremely durable. Been on my mother in laws subaru outside for 6 months and still beads but sheets very well.

I was thinking of using their new coating topper booster or kamikaze infinity wax over my CQUK

IGL Igreenlover has a great product line, from Poly to EcoQuartz and a pro version ( certified ) Kenzo. Easy to apply and offers excellent protection and gloss, to me 90% is all in correct prepping of the paint, ensuring the paint is in its best possible condition.
